Let’s talk about some REGULATIONS IN THE PLASTIC PACKAGING PRODUCTION
The ADR REGULATION IN THE PLASTIC PACKAGING
ADR is an acronym for "Agreement for the carriage of Dangerous goods by Road”. This is the Agreement governing the international transport of dangerous goods by road within European territory. Goods that may supose a risk to the environment or public health in the event of an accident in their transport must comply with these Regulations.
As plastic packaging manufacturer, compliance with the standard means that our bottles, jerrycans and caps meet a number of stringent technical and legal requirements to ensure safety in the transport of dangerous goods. These requirements are applicable to both, the product and the process to produce it, and are regularly verified by independent accredited bodies marked with their corresponding registration.
OTHER REGULATIONS THAT APPLY TO THE PRODUCTION OF PLASTIC PACKAGING
In order to ensure compliance not only with these regulations but with those of other sectors such as cosmetics that are included in our portfolio of plastic containers, we carry out
tests to characterize our raw materials,
compatibility studies between container & product bottled ,
drop tests,
stacking tests
...
In summary, a whole series of tests that ensure that our packaging meets the requirements of each sector.
At Alcion Packaging Solutions we take on the challenge and responsibility of manufacturing plastic packaging suitable for the transport of dangerous goods. To do this, we have the technical knowledge acquired through our trajectory of 75 years in the market and our highly qualified human team. Besides, we count on the equipment and means to ensure that the packaging we market meets the authorized specifications.
Aligned with our company vision, we continuously invest in technical means and training for the compliance with the regulations that apply to us. We also persist in working to keep our consolidation as a reference in Quality in our sector and to achieve it in a sustainable and respectful way with the environment and with the Society itself.
At Alcion Packaging Solutions we launch our Strategic Planning 2020-2022 to consolidate a cultural change according to the needs of our plastic packaging manufacturing business for the agrochemical, industrial and cosmetic sectors.
The advance of technology has highlighted the need for cultural change in companies that promote a new business model, a new internal structure of the company, new skills that generate impact, both in the efficiency of processes and in people's professional growth.
We are going to define in a clearer way and to develop our actions measured with new KPI’s which promote a new model of culture in our organisation and that achieve the involvement of all the staff in Alcion.
On the other hand, the new People Development Plan highlights two key factors, cross-cutting to the whole company, that will lead us to the success of such new Plan that launches the human resources area: the integration of communication in the management of our company and the establishment an organizational development model that allows us to improve the retention of talent, thanks to the development of it. That talent that will allow to design and develop new packaging according to the demand of an ever-evolving market.
ALCION maintains its commitment to the training and professional development of all the people of the organization as a necessary condition to obtain maximum efficiency in the production processes and to define the path to the excellence of our packaging. With the ultimate goal of being more competitive, we enhance the added value of having a company with a trained human capital allowing, not only to apply the practical knowledge acquired throughout our business trajectory of 75 years, but also to be able to apply the continual improvement process and its optimization to be innovative and efficient in the development of the plastic packaging that we produce and market.
At Alcion Packaging Solutions we start a new stage and face it with enthusiasm, with proactivity and we are eager to anticipate to offer the best solutions in plastic materials for our clients according to our Strategic Planning 2020-2022
