{"id":8639,"date":"2020-12-03T12:56:10","date_gmt":"2020-12-03T11:56:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alcion.com\/?p=8639"},"modified":"2020-12-03T12:56:46","modified_gmt":"2020-12-03T11:56:46","slug":"75th-anniversary-manufacture-of-plastic-packaging","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.alcion.com\/en\/75th-anniversary-manufacture-of-plastic-packaging\/","title":{"rendered":"Celebrating our 75th anniversary with implementation of improvements in energy efficiency and high performance in the manufacture of plastic packaging"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">To celebrate our 75th anniversary, a highly significant milestone in our company, we are proud to start a new production unit in our facilities in Aldaia (Valencia).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">An important part of our investment projects along 2020 consists on the implementation of new production units that will increase our productivity in the plant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">With<strong> this new all-electric manufacturing unit for the production of plastic containers<\/strong>, we \u00a0bet on \u00a0sustainability which allows us to eliminate energy and water waste, hydraulic oil and to reduce the consumption of other elements, obtaining an important <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>energy efficiency<\/strong>: using less\u00a0energy\u00a0to perform the same tasks.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-8641 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/alcion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/usadas-nov-1024x341.png\" alt=\"manufacturer packaging plastic\" width=\"1024\" height=\"341\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.alcion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/usadas-nov-1024x341.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.alcion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/usadas-nov-300x100.png 300w, https:\/\/www.alcion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/usadas-nov-768x256.png 768w, https:\/\/www.alcion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/usadas-nov.png 1500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Taking care of our staff, we automate the production process optimizing downtimes and reducing noise drastically, contributing thus, to highlight our \u201csafe sustainability\u201d code, minimizing the environmental impact of our production units.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Improvements in the manufacture of plastic packaging<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Until a few years ago, plastic had only been a waste, it had never been considered a resource. Abandoned in our cities it ended up at sea generating, along with the remains of fishing equipment, immense islands. Some talk about 5 documented islands and one more that is being generated in the Mediterranean, others comment that there are already 7. Luckily, we have opened our eyes and so we have discovered, in the discarded plastic, a new resource, a very valuable resource indeed, that can be reused with a correct recycling process.
