{"id":10853,"date":"2022-12-23T10:40:00","date_gmt":"2022-12-23T09:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alcion.com\/?p=10853"},"modified":"2023-05-10T15:02:36","modified_gmt":"2023-05-10T13:02:36","slug":"development-of-rdi-as-a-value-bet-in-aps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.alcion.com\/en\/development-of-rdi-as-a-value-bet-in-aps\/","title":{"rendered":"DEVELOPMENT OF R&#038;D&#038;I AS A VALUE BET IN APS."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Research, Development and Innovation for the development of plastic packaging<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The development of R + D + i as a value commitment in APS is materialized in the implementation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/alcion.com\/en\/barrier-plastic-packaging-approved-for-industrial-market\/\">Plasma fluorination<\/a> by incorporating this new technology for the manufacture of barrier containers with the aim of improving the recyclability circuit of this type of packaging.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, we have been carrying out certain industrial tests, some with the aim of incorporating as much post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR) as possible into our plastic packaging and others to reduce its weight, to contribute our efforts towards the construction of a true <a href=\"https:\/\/alcion.com\/en\/sustainability\/\">circular economy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Aware of the risk and danger of the products that are packaged in the containers we manufacture, the approvals are being thoroughly tested and validated in order to maintain our high-quality standards, which are the basis of <a href=\"https:\/\/alcion.com\/en\/company\/\">our commitment to our customers, society and the environment<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10010 size-medium\" title=\"IDI Certificate\" src=\"https:\/\/alcion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/UNE-166002-Color-300x300.png\" alt=\"IDI Certificate\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.alcion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/UNE-166002-Color-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/www.alcion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/UNE-166002-Color-1024x1024.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.alcion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/UNE-166002-Color-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/www.alcion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/UNE-166002-Color-768x768.png 768w, https:\/\/www.alcion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/UNE-166002-Color-1536x1536.png 1536w, https:\/\/www.alcion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/UNE-166002-Color-2048x2048.png 2048w, https:\/\/www.alcion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/UNE-166002-Color-85x85.png 85w, https:\/\/www.alcion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/UNE-166002-Color-440x440.png 440w, https:\/\/www.alcion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/UNE-166002-Color.png 2363w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>All this carried out under the premises of our Committee of RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION and with the implementation of the UNE 166.002 standard to achieve the objectives of<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implementation of the new PLASMA technology<\/li>\n<li>Incorporation of post-consumer recycled material into our packaging<\/li>\n<li>Reduction of weight of the packaging<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>New scenario 2023<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>2023 opens a new scenario and the implementation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es\/Sede\/en_gb\/impuestos-especiales-medioambientales\/impuesto-especial-sobre-envases-plastico-reutilizables\/informacion-general.html\">new Special Tax on non-reusable plastic packaging<\/a> seems imminent.
